Legal notice & rights

Last updated: September 30, 2026. This page identifies the site publisher, explains how its content may be used, who owns it and which remedies apply. Read it together with the privacy policy.

1. Site publisher

This website is operated by NEXUS AGENCE, a web agency run by Tommy Lafrance, self-employed, based in Montreal (Quebec), Canada.

  • Responsible person: Tommy Lafrance
  • Phone: 438-883-7542
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Service area: Greater Montreal — Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Terrebonne — and anywhere by email.

2. Published information (prices, timelines, availability)

Prices ($500, $1,200, $1,500, maintenance $59.99/month), turnaround times (mockup within 48 business hours) and inclusions published on this site constitute a firm offer for standard mandates.

  • The exact scope of each package is described on the services page. Any request outside that scope is quoted separately, and accepted before work begins.
  • A timeline can shift if the client's material (photos, copy, approvals) runs late; the Agency tells you before the deadline, not after.
  • External renewals after the first year (hosting, domain) are announced before payment, with the amount and provider.

3. Intellectual property

The structure, copy, mockups, code and visual identity of NEXUS AGENCE (including the lion logo) belong to Tommy Lafrance unless stated otherwise. Copying, redistributing or reusing them without written permission is not permitted.

Your site belongs to you: at the end of a mandate, the source files (copy, images, code) are delivered to the client. Third-party photo licences (including free-bank visual samples) are credited to their authors and disclosed on request.

4. Liability

NEXUS AGENCE aims to keep its information accurate and current, without any warranty of completeness. Site content is not legal, financial or medical advice. Portfolio mockups are demonstration interfaces: they show the Agency's style, not the existence of a real business, unless stated otherwise.

5. Commercial messages — Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL)

NEXUS AGENCE does not send commercial email without a prior relationship. If a promotional message is ever sent, it complies with CASL: clear sender identification, usable contact details and a working unsubscribe mechanism. To unsubscribe: reply "unsubscribe" — applied within 10 days.

6. Personal information protection — Quebec Law 25

Information sent through the contact form (name, email, phone, project description) is used only to answer your request. It is never sold, rented or shared for advertising. Your rights of access, correction and deletion are described in the privacy policy.

7. Termination and disputes

The standard agreement provides: 50% deposit on order, balance after launch, two rounds of included revisions, termination possible in writing. In a dispute, direct discussion comes first; as a last resort, Quebec courts apply and Quebec law governs.

Cancellation after agreement: if you cancel the order after signing the agreement and paying the 50% deposit — that is, once work time has already been invested — a 15% cancellation fee of the total package amount is retained to compensate the lost time and completed work (research, brief, mockup, exchanges). The remainder of the deposit (50% − 15%) is refunded to you within 10 business days. If work already progressed beyond the mockup, the delivered hours are deducted additionally, and a clear accounting is provided.
