Support the workshop.

NEXUS AGENCE lives on its agency work. If you want to lend a hand to the infrastructure behind this site — servers, backups, tools, open-source software — a donation goes exactly there. Nothing is required: the site runs the same, with or without.

NEXUS AGENCE is not a registered charity: no tax receipt, no tax credit. The details are written below, in plain words.

$5 is the suggested amount — not a price, not a minimum. Every donation is a donation.

Or by Interac — works with every bank

Some cards (especially Desjardins debit cards, or cards not enabled for online purchases) are refused by their bank, whatever payment platform is used. In that case an Interac e-Transfer works with every account in Quebec: send the amount to ckaiser.dev@gmail.com with the word «donation». No fee for you, no fee for us.

An Interac donation does not show up automatically: it is added to the donation log by hand at the end of the month. As with cards, no tax receipt (NEXUS AGENCE is not a registered charity).

Where your donation goes

Three items, written in advance — not an allocation invented afterwards:

The servers

The hosting that serves this site and the workshop tools: backups, domain names, certificates.

The components

Hardware that ages and needs replacing, including disks and off-site backups.

Open-source software

A share goes back to the open projects the shop runs on: what is given back must return.

Stripe charges its fees on each donation (about 2.9% + $0.30 per card). The rest goes to the three items above. The donation log is published below, updated monthly.

A recurring amount helps plan ahead — useful, never required. Cancel anytime, no questions asked: the portal link is in every receipt.

The details, in plain words

  • Payment — Processed by Stripe (PCI level 1). No card data goes through our servers; you are redirected to Stripe's secure page, then brought back here.
  • Receipt — Stripe emails you a confirmation. It is not a tax receipt: NEXUS AGENCE is not a registered charity (CRA/Revenu Québec), so no tax credit applies.
  • Use — Donations fund the infrastructure and tools described above. They grant no service, no benefit, no equity.
  • Refunds — A donation is final. If the amount was a mistake, write to us: we will fix it.
  • Privacy — Payment information handled by Stripe; we only see the confirmation. See the privacy policy.
