Redesign & modernization — keep what works, fix the rest

Your website needs a second wind, not a blank page.

A slow site, one that doesn't work on phones, or one that Google can't find loses you clients every day. Rebuilding everything from scratch is expensive and often throws away rankings you already earned. NEXUS AGENCE audits your current site, keeps what performs, rebuilds what hurts you, and hardens the whole thing along the way.

Warning signs

Six signs your website is costing you clients.

There's no single right moment to rebuild a website, but there are bad signs that keep showing up. If you recognize two or three of them, a targeted redesign pays for itself quickly.

The site is slow

More than three seconds to display a page, oversized images, outdated hosting. Most mobile visitors leave before the page finishes loading.

Not built for mobile

Text you can't read without zooming, buttons that are too small, a menu that overflows. Most of your local traffic is on a phone.

Outdated security

No HTTPS padlock, an unprotected contact form, no automatic backups. An insecure site damages trust and exposes you.

Weak rankings

Invisible when someone searches your service in Montreal, generic titles and descriptions, unstructured content. Google doesn't understand what you offer.

Dated design

A 2010s look signals a business that stopped keeping up. Visitors judge credibility in a few seconds.

Hard to update

Every text change or new opening hour means calling a developer. You have no control over your own storefront.

The method, step by step

We don't start from zero for no reason.

A successful redesign is prepared before the first line of code is written. Here's how we work, from the first diagnosis to the day after launch.

1. Audit of the current site

We inventory the pages, copy, images and the addresses that actually get traffic, plus everything that's no longer used. A clear report before any decision.

2. Migration plan

For every page: keep, rewrite or remove. You approve the plan before the redesign starts — no surprises.

3. Rebuild without losing SEO

Content is rebuilt on a clean, fast foundation, with the local keywords preserved and improved — never sacrificed to the design.

4. 301 redirects

Every old address is redirected to its new one. Google rankings, inbound links and bookmarks keep working.

5. Launch & checks

Cutover during off-peak hours, then verification of forms, redirected addresses and your most visited pages, followed by monitoring of the first days.

6. Continuity plan

The old site stays on standby until everything is confirmed. If something goes wrong, we can roll back quickly.

What we keep

Your content, your rankings, your data.

The most valuable part of a website isn't its design: it's the work accumulated in it. A well-run redesign protects that asset instead of starting over.

The content

Your copy, images, blog posts and descriptions are reused. We clean them up, rewrite where needed and lay them out again — nothing is thrown away without your approval.

The rankings

Existing addresses preserved, local keywords protected, titles and descriptions carried over and improved. Inbound links keep pointing to the right place thanks to 301 redirects.

The data

Contact requests, orders, client accounts, newsletters: your data is migrated carefully and stays available during and after the redesign.

Security, on top

A redesign is the right moment to add the HTTPS padlock, protect your forms, turn on automatic backups and update every dependency.

Three redesign packages

The same site, rebuilt to fit you.

Redesign packages follow the same prices as a new build, because the work is comparable. Payment is 50% on order and 50% on deployment. Hosting and domain are covered for the first year.

Frequently asked

What clients ask before a redesign.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

No. That's exactly the risk we neutralize: every old address is redirected with a 301 to the new one, local keywords are preserved and your most visited pages are checked after launch.

How long does a redesign take?

Two to four weeks depending on size: audit in the first week, then the migration plan, the rebuild, launch and monitoring of the first days. You always know where things stand.

Will the site be offline during the work?

No. The old site stays online throughout the redesign. Cutover happens during off-peak hours and the previous version is kept on standby for a while, so we can roll back if needed.

Do we start from scratch?

Not unnecessarily. We first audit what works — content, structure, the addresses that bring in business — and only rebuild what hurts speed, mobile, security or rankings.

Who provides the copy and images?

We reuse your existing copy and images. If needed, we rewrite them or produce new ones. You approve everything before launch — nothing is published without your sign-off.

What does it cost?

Three packages: $500 for a brochure redesign, $1,200 for a service redesign and $1,500 for an advanced redesign (clinic, booking, catalogue). Payment 50% / 50%. Optional maintenance is $59.99/month.
